Ethan Betancourt, Class of 2014, moved to Oregon after 4th grade and graduated from Lincoln HS in Portland, in 2021. Ethan attended Loyola University in New Orleans for music production but decided the Pacific Northwest was still calling. He's taking a gap year and will study computer science in fall of 2023. (Hopefully at the University of Washington). Ethan is still producing music and has sold two "beats" so far!
Vel Chaitanya, Class of 2019, has moved to India and attends American International School, Chennai.
Alessia Cicuto, Class of 2017, has committed to play field hockey at Louisville University and in her position as a goalkeeper was named one of the Top 50 players in the US by MAX Field Hockey.
Willi Dunlap, Class of 2016, has committed to swim for Johns Hopkins University beginning in the fall of 2023.
Zoe Ender, Class of 2017, lives in Connecticut and attends The Woodstock Academy. She received The Head of School Award in 2022.
Clement Garros, Class of 2022, moved to France and is attending EBIHS Ecole Bilingue Internationale Haute Savoie. He is enjoying spending time at the lake, skiing and meeting classmates who have also lived abroad.
Jacky Gordon, Class of 2005, was married in the fall of 2022 and is currently living in Italy.
Hayden Madry, Preschool Alumni, is back at The Raleigh School as a current parent with a child in the twos program. He attended Raleigh Preschool when it was located on Ridge Road.
Bethany Martin, Class of 2008, started a job with ModuleQ as a content specialist in December 2022. ModuleQ uses People-Facing AI to compliment solutions like ChatGPT with a focus on deep personalization, context, and reasoning.
Ryne Maynor, Class of 2007, became engaged earlier this month.
Jones Nettesheim, Class of 2022, attends Pine Springs Prepratory Academy and sent this note, "Rocking 6th grade at PSPA and traveling to lots of new places competing level 9 USA Gymnastics for Sonshine. Thanks Raleigh School."
Rachel Skolnick, Class of 2022, has been named to the All-A's Honor Roll each quarter at Wake Young Womens Leadership Academy. She's in AIG and the afterschool newspaper club. She creates crossword puzzles for that publication.
Kate Stanton, Class of 2005, recently became engaged to Jonathan. He popped the question while on a hike at Umstead Park.
Rachel Thimsen, Class of 2007, is a Senior Account Executive at BAM.
Lyndon Wood, Class of 2013, after graduating from Wake Forest University will be pursuing her Master of Bioethics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health while competing with the reigning national soccer champs next year!
The Raleigh School has a strong representative group of alumni, Class of 2020, who are now attending St. Timothy's and were all inducted into the Junior National Honor Society: Elizabeth Alley, Dax Cuthbertson, Lyla Mulcahy, Juliet Myers, Emi Schweitzer, and London Sizemore.
